The little tab that was covered in paint moves slightly away from the centre with a sharp thin screw driver, then you pull the whole widget up - easy. Thank you, though. My little hose popped off because of a clogged diesel particle filter (DPF). I ran the engine at 2,500 RPM for 35 minutes with braces on the accelerator and brake pedals, and that cleared the DPF. Then I re-attached the hose. That also cleared the "check engine" light and lit noodle showing fuel flow problems.

I know you said in this video when using your scope you identify the signal coming from the fuel pump is being faulty. And that resulted in a full diagnosis to a replacement of the fuel pump. But would I not be correct in saying testing it from the fuse relay does not allow you to identify a wiring short potentially leading to the same problem

Hey I got the same issue on 996 turbo s. We have the same issue or my das has and I want to fix it for him. The system has been completely dead for years before we even bought it. I can pry it up but am worried about the pistons snapping down after. Anything I can do? Or do I just have to let them snap down

The exact same lever on my XC90 is also cracked. I have superglued it back and it is holding. However, the lever can be simply, popped off with leverage and popped back on with long-nose grip pliers. I do not see any reason to take anything else off to do this. Please correct me if I am wrong - as I am no expert and have only come across this problem today.

Hi Paul, you are great person sending all this fantastic and helpfull videos, by the time I have find you, I have already caused some silly problems to my audi q7, after removing the dpf sensor car was running perfect and because dpf was blocked, I have send some water and chemical through the sensor whole but at one point the water come over the top and definetly gone in to the turbo or engine side aswell, what do I do now sir, please help me, and advise what to do. Thank you

You mentioned at the beginning that the car is a T-Roc R. However, it seems to be a T-Roc R-Line instead. This can be seen from the missing R button on the steering wheel and the speedometer going up to 260 instead of 320.

Suffering the exact same on an '05. Can you list the test procedure or provide a link to it? What did you diagnose as the problem? The mechanic says I should replace alternator but that's a hefty part and before I do that, I feel there's a few other things in the way that should be ruled out, such as the battery control ECU behind the main battery.

I removed loom bracket from sump. 2 screws. I made up 2 new brackets to hold the loom in as close as possible to area above sump so the belt is in front of this loom. Stupid design as you can't get the belt off without removing the loom bracket. I took the whole front of car off to fix this. So I could work on repositioning the loom behind the belt.
